Praxis am Wallbach stands for modern orthopaedic and trauma surgery care in a personal and welcoming environment. We combine specialist medical expertise with a deliberately personal, patient-focused approach, offering both planned consultations and first-line emergency care. In addition, we provide primary care services, primarily for patients who do not currently have a general practitioner.

Registering as a Primary Care Patient
Would you like to register with our practice for primary care? We would be pleased to hear from you. Simply send us an e-mail including your full name, date of birth and telephone number. We will then contact you to complete your registration and arrange an initial appointment to get to know you and discuss your healthcare needs.
Each patient is assigned to one dedicated General Practitioner (GP), ensuring continuity of care. Whenever your GP is unavailable or urgent medical attention is required, another member of our medical team will be available to provide care. On days when our General Practitioners are not consulting in person at Praxis am Wallbach, they remain available by telephone through Aarepraxis Thun. All appointments and coordination continue to be managed by Praxis am Wallbach.
Information Regarding Insurance Coverage
For treatment costs to be covered by health insurance outside of emergency situations, a written referral from your general practitioner may be required depending on your insurance model.
No medical referral is required for accident-related treatments (UVG) or emergency situations.
